Mt. Zion has several ministries for all age groups. Come visit us to see all the things that are happening and get involved!
Mt. Zion is a church that believes strongly in the power of prayer! Every Sunday there is a "prayer partner" that prays through the entire service. We also have a team of prayer warriors who collect prayer requests and some meet on Thursday nights to spend time in dedicated prayer for these needs.
Older. Wiser. Loving. Seniors. This Senior ministry group is led by Karl & Linda Dorff. Please contact them for further details
Sunday mornings there are 3 different Adult Growth Groups as well as classes for Kids Pre-k through 2nd grades, 3rd-5th grades, and 6th-12th grades. Karl Dorff is our Growth Group Superintendent. Contact him for further details.
Military Care Packages
Please consider donating items from the approved list found in the church vestibule, to be packaged and sent to those who are serving in the military.
Nursing Home Ministry
A group of volunteers spends an hour every 3rd Sunday to visit the residents at the New Harmony Nursing Home. A devotion, some prayer, and favorite hymns are shared and both the volunteers and the residents are blessed.
Right Path Ministries
The Youth of Mt. Zion and our surrounding communities are very important to Jesus and to us! Volunteers meet every Wednesday to sing some songs, eat some pizza, share a lesson, and just have fun! We have a different group for each age range beginning with 4 years old up to Jr. High age on Wednesdays. Sunday night is for High Schoolers only so they can spend time with their peers eating, talking, and playing games. All while they learn that they do matter and hear about how Jesus wants them to live. Contact our RPM Leader Sabrina McCarty for further details.
During the Sunday morning service, volunteers meet with the children of the congregation to sing, share a Bible lesson, do a craft, and have a small snack. This allows the kids to learn on their level and helps parents to focus their attention on the message.
